California Teachers

April 17th, 2009

I keep hearing that California teachers keep getting “Pink Slips” - I have also been told by students that their teachers are telling their students that 1. They got a pink slip and 2. They are losing their job. I did a little research on this, and I was enraged to find out that this is almost always NOT TRUE. A pink slip has always stood for a person actually getting fired or losing their job… and as far as I can tell and this is just my personal opinion, it seems like none of these teachers has actually lost their jobs due to the mass “pink slips” being sent out… does anyone else have any hard facts on this important issue?

Obama Will Fix Education

February 20th, 2009

The Obama stimulus bill was just passed and it is aimed at fixing education and green research and global warming research. I am not totally sure if it will all work… but, I sure hope it will. The country cannot survive without a strong education system and we will not continue to grow and dominate the free world if our citizens are not properly educated - both young and old and all races, creeds, and income levels - everyone deserves a fair chance. I know that money is needed to fix our education system - if we don’t provide the proper funding - we cant expect our citizens to be properly educated. I was told by someone I trust that blogs are great sources of information and knowledge and education he also told me about a great lasik blog called IQ Lasik Blog. It seems to have a lot of great lasik information about lasik and IQ Lasik Blog seems to be written by a well respected  lasik surgeon - Dr. Robert T. Lin. He is the founder and medical director of IQ Laser Vision. Dr. Lin seems to answer a lot of good questions and provides a ton of lasik information about lasik and the lasik blog called IQ Lasik Blog is highly reccommended by me. So, if you are ever in need of lasik Los Angeles - be sure to look up IQ Laser Vision and read a great lasik blog called IQ Lasik Blog. So when it comes to education and research and our great country, I hope Obama will be able to keep us on track and dig us out of the mess that we are in right now. I don’t know if he can do it, but I hope he can. Only time will tell. And hope is all we have.

Will Obama be “The One”

November 22nd, 2008

In my vast research and overwhelming knowledge, I have been wondering about whether or not Obama will live up to all the hype… will he be “The One” and all…

It is my thought that no one can possibly live up to all that pressure and expectations… the media, in their all encompassing and all knowing power and knowledge have crowned Obama the saviour of our dear country… to the point where no mortal man can possibly live up to the expectations being bestowed on him… imagine a man who can give money to all who are in need, provide health care to all the sick of the world, grab the extra money that is overflowing out of the pockets of those greedy rich people, and of course let us not forget to CHANGE… yes, Change… change.

Now what ? I don’t know… I am not even sure what can really be changed… although we will soon see… and don’t get me wrong… I am pulling for you Obama… I am not rich at the moment, I am in need, I am your target audience to help… so, if you really can… then by all means… please help us… my brother and his family, who are most certainly in need, also would very much love the generousity of the great Obama… in fact my brother had his eyes fixed by Dr. Robert T Lin - and has highly recommended Dr. Robert T Lin as a top Lasik Eye Surgeon for Lasik Los Angeles and the surrounding areas and cities and communities… but, as for providing us with handouts… we will take them… so, yes, Obama… please change the world, and if you can, send us some free money on the way.

Is education the key to solving our current financial crisis ?

October 13th, 2008

It is possible that educating our young people could play a very big role in the next 10 years as to how well we handle all of this financial turmoil.

The more educated, usually the better off… I really hope that we get our act together and focus on educating every young person in our country.

Tutoring Grand Terrace

August 2nd, 2008

Tutoring young children is one of the most important things in life. If a child is struggling to learn or keep up in school, getting them help, getting them a tutor that knows how to get them back on track is vital to their development.

This brings me to my good friend who was telling me that he needed to find a place to tutor his 7 year old son… So, I told him that I know of a great Tutoring Center In Grand Terrace, and that the people there at Academic Associates Grand Terrace, are really great people and will definitely be able to help tutor his seven year old. So, my friend called them, and later told me that for Tutoring Center In Grand Terrace, that was the very best place… he has had nothing but great things to say about them, and he recently told me that he is going to be referring them to everyone he knows.

Bad Credit Loans

March 30th, 2008

At times in our lives, it is almost certain we will experience some sort form of financial problems including debt; even though we feel this state of affairs has been forced upon us. It’s not the end of the world even if you have a poor credit score; a bad credit loan is always available online.

Money provided to a person experiencing financial hardship is no different to any other type of loan and can be used by the applicant in the same way. By the way, having a poor credit score can be a result of your own actions, either accidental or deliberate. It could be that you missed a credit card payment due to an unforeseen situation. Nevertheless, you do have a chance to improve your financial status.

These bad credit loans may be used for other situations and not necessarily debts, so it could be used for an emergency expense that has arisen like medical fees not covered by insurance or a wedding for example. It is not uncommon for a person to arrange a loan just so they can repair their damaged credit history. They may not require the money for any specific situation.

Of the options available, the secured loan is preferable to the unsecured loan because it can provide greater funds, in the order of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars maximum. It also has a greater repayment period up to twenty five years. However, if you take the unsecured loan route the maximum you will be able to lend will be dramatically reduced to 50,000 dollars and you will only have 10 years to pay it back.

There will, however, be either a home or car, for example, used as collateral for the loan and this will result in the lender offering the loan at a lower interest rate; albeit, the borrower could lose their possessions if they fail to make their repayments. The benefits of an unsecured loan are that the home or other valuable item is not put at risk if the person defaults on the loan but as a consequence there is a higher rate of interest to pay each month.

The easiest way to carry this out is online where lenders can be found that will arrange bad credit loans for individuals who have court judgments against them for previous bad debt repayment. It must be said that the number of lenders willing to arrange a loan under these circumstances is far fewer than normal so you may find that to get a loan that fits your pocket; you may need to carry out the application online.

A person shouldn’t have too much difficulty in arranging a bad credit loan even if they have a previous adverse credit score and it may help improve your situation when you are at you lowest. By making the loan application online it will speed up the process so you will be able to get back on with your life.

Arranging a another debt this way should enable a person to carry out their financial obligations by rebuilding credibility and reliability in the financial world at the same time, which is like having a second chance.

Does my education matter ?

March 25th, 2008

Does my education really mattter ?

Of course it does !!!!!!!

Maybe even more so today than at any other time in history.  Our world today is global and you are competing with people not only in your town but in other countries.  The technology of the internet and computers connects everyone to the same network.  You can experience this phenomenon by calling for support on your computer.  You will more than likely be talking to a support representative in India.

If you want to succeed in today’s world, learn as much as you can.  You can never know too much.  Make sure you can read and write and speak your language, maybe even multiple languages.  English is almost the world wide business language so master it.  If you can master language, everyone will think you are “smarter” than you are.

Your education matters so never stop education yourself.

529 College Savings Plan

March 25th, 2008

If you need to save for your childs college education… you should consider a 529 Savings Plan.

The government allows you to contribute to a 529 savings plan with “after tax” money… and when the student withdraws the money for qualifying education expenses, the student does not pay any taxes at all on the funds withdrawn…

A 529 college savings plan is a great way to start saving for your childs college education.

www.UPromise.com - Saving for your childs education now…

March 22nd, 2008

The easiest and smartest way that I have seen to save for your childs education is to start by signing up for a UPROMISE.com account…

UPromise.com is a company that allows you to sign up all your credit cards to their site… and when you make a qualified purchase with thousands of stores, restaurants, and online merchants… they (the merchants) give you a tiny cash bonus that goes directly into your UPROMISE account. Over time, just by purchasing normal things like gas for your car, groceries, and eating out… you can build up large FREE amounts of cash that goes right into your childs COLLEGE EDUCATION FUND.

Now, the greatest thing about this is that ANYONE can sign up… so, your Aunts, Uncles, and GrandParents and friends can also sign up, and designate any child as the beneficiary of the bonus money… and the money can be split up between children.

Additionally, UPROMISE provides a convenient way to sign up for a 529 Plan. This is a college savings plan that you should contact your Financial Advisor about.
